Mia Herms Agent
A private, personal health assistant for a small, fixed set of authorised users.
What this application is
Mia Herms Agent is a private personal health assistant for authorised users, operated inside a private automation cluster. It is not a public product and it does not create accounts for the public. Access is limited to explicitly authorised users, each of whom grants their own consent and whose data is kept separate.
Mia connects to Google Health only after an authorised user explicitly grants consent through Google's own OAuth consent screen. Nothing is read from Google Health before that consent, and a user can withdraw consent at any time.
What Mia can read (with the user's consent)
Using read-only Google Health scopes, Mia can retrieve information in these categories:
- Activity and fitness - steps, distance, floors, active minutes, active zone minutes, activity level, energy burned, calories, time in heart-rate zones, swimming lengths, and exercise sessions.
- Health metrics and measurements - heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiratory rate, body weight, body fat, height, blood glucose and core body temperature where such data exists.
- Sleep - sleep sessions, sleep duration and the sleep stages/metrics Google supplies.
- Nutrition - nutrition logs, logged foods and hydration logs.
- Profile - basic Google Health profile details for the authorised user.
What Mia can add or edit (write)
Write access is deliberately restricted to three categories, and only to data this application adds:
- Nutrition - Mia can add nutrition logs and hydration logs the user asks it to record, and can update or delete records that Mia itself created.
- Logged symptoms - Mia can record a symptom the user asks it to log, and update or delete symptom entries that Mia itself created.
- Mindfulness - Mia can record mindfulness entries the user asks it to log, and update or delete entries that Mia itself created.
Google Health provides write-only access for logged symptoms and mindfulness: Mia can add entries in those two categories at the user's request, but it cannot read them back from Google Health. Mia also cannot modify data it did not create, and it has no write access at all to activity, fitness, heart rate, HRV, SpO2, other measurements, sleep, profile or body metrics.
What the data is used for
- health summaries the user explicitly asks for;
- trends and comparisons across the user's own data;
- personalised answers about the user's own health, fitness and recovery;
- health and fitness context so Mia's answers are relevant to that user.
Health data is never used for advertising, is never sold, and is never used to build a profile for marketing.
Your data, your control
Every user grants their own consent separately. Mia keeps each user's Google credentials and health data strictly separate, and it resolves the correct user server-side rather than allowing an arbitrary Google account to be selected in a chat.
