Terms for the private, personal Mia Herms Agent application.
1. Private, authorised use
Mia Herms Agent ("Mia") is a private personal application operated for a set of explicitly authorised users. It is not offered to the public, there is no public registration, and access may be limited or withdrawn at any time. By using Mia you agree to these terms.
2. Your Google account and consent
Mia connects to Google Health only for the Google account you personally authorise, and only after you grant consent on Google's OAuth consent screen. You are responsible for the Google account you authorise and for keeping your own devices and account secure. You may decline or withdraw consent at any time; Mia will then no longer be able to read from or write to Google Health for that account.
3. Each user is separate
Every authorised user grants consent separately. Mia keeps each user's credentials and health data strictly separate and does not use one user's credentials to access another user's data.
4. Informational only - not medical advice
Mia produces summaries, trends, comparisons and answers based on data available from Google Health and on what you tell it. These are informational only. Mia is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and does not replace professional medical advice.
Do not use Mia for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or a qualified healthcare professional immediately. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something Mia produced. Data may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate: only Google Health and the recording device are authoritative for a measurement, and Mia will not invent values that are absent.
5. What Mia may write
When you explicitly ask it to log something, Mia may add entries in nutrition, logged symptoms and mindfulness, and may update or delete entries that Mia itself created. Mia will not modify data it did not create and has no write access to activity, fitness, heart rate, HRV, SpO2, other measurements, sleep, profile or body metrics. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you ask Mia to record.
6. Revoking access
You can revoke Mia's access through your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation Mia cannot retrieve or add Google Health data for that account until you consent again.
7. Availability and changes
Mia is a personal project. It is provided as-is, may be unavailable at times, and its features - including the Google Health integration - may change, be paused, or be discontinued. No availability or fitness for a particular purpose is guaranteed.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mia to access a Google account you are not authorised to use, not to attempt to bypass the per-user isolation, not to use it for unlawful purposes, and not to use it for medical decision-making in place of a qualified professional.
9. Privacy
How Google user data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: data is fetched on demand, not sold, not used for advertising, and shared only with the language-model provider needed to generate your answer.
